Back playing Total War: Warhammer II
and really putting in effort to get into Warhammer lore. Just felt so empty not being attached to any of the factions/races or anything. Unlike Three Kingdoms where I'm familiar with everyone and the events that take place.

Just finished Final Fantasy X; I enjoyed it for the most part, though the “tropical fantasy” setting didn’t work for me and some of the late game boss fights were a pain. The narrative is tightly paced thanks to the linear world design, and I enjoyed the characters despite the awful voice acting and goofy character designs (Lulu might be Tetsuya Nomura’s worst design).

Been playing through Astral Chain. Think I’m still early on in the game. Just got the Arm Legion. This game really is a JoJo fans dreams

Just finished The Last of Us, which I picked up a few days ago after watching the Lessons from the Screenplay video on it. It’s a compelling story with strong characters, and the combat, exploration, and stealth come together beautifully.

The thing that stood out to me the most about the game was its excellent pacing; It’s regularly varying the tension so that you’re never staying in one level of intensity for too long. You’re constantly weaving between moments of calm, nervous stealth sequences, and heated firefights, which keeps things engaging and makes the game hard to put down when combined with the story.
