Outer Wilds - 8/10
Probably one of the best, if not the best designed games I've ever played? Sensational OST too. That final song around the campfire was beautiful.
Actraiser- Renaissance
Excellent remake of an all time classic with bolstered city building/defense along with better platform fighting
Devil May Cry 5
The story and stakes are back after the awful dmc4, seeing Dante outclassed again was needed, and Nero actually has a personality now. Great visuals and longer stages, my main complaints are that there aren't as many fun to fight enemies as previously, and the enemy ai is pretty passive, easiest dmc game since part 2
I'm on chapter 5 of Trauma Center: Second Opinion
Just started Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney after finishing AA3
I'm also partway through Snatcher, the Sega CD release
all good games so far
Actively: TOK, Monster Hunter World. Kingdom Hearts FM.
Passively: Mega Man Battle Network 2, Final Fantasy 1, Xenoblade 3
Upcoming: Street Fighter 6, Diablo Iv, FF16
Doom eternal, i haven't finished it but I consider it to be one of the best fps i've ever played, the devs went off with this one,the art direction, the graphics and especially the gameplay,an absolute Masterpiece
Finished Live A Live; very streamlined and well paced JRPG. I enjoyed the episodic structure of the game with each chapter exploring a different time period and having its own style and tone, though combat fell flat for me most of the time with the game not doing much with its movement or positioning mechanics.
Odio was the highlight of Live A Live. Having the main antagonist be the eternal manifestation of hatred works really well in a nonlinear narrative like this by thematically linking these disparate stories together. The Distant Future and Middle Ages chapters were my favourites as they had the most interesting scenarios and were the most effective at communicating the themes of the game.
I know Live A Live was a precursor to Chrono Trigger but I wouldn’t be surprised if the game was referenced during the development of 13 Sentinels as well since they’re both nonlinear narratives taking place across different time periods.
sf6 and max payne 1 for the first time
Bayonetta (PS5)
Also never played Nier Automata
I see the dominatrix lady and the anime influence and I automatically think no sir
But looks like there's something underlying?
Something I'm missing or what
