This Until Dawn is ass on regular encounters but the overall game and the scope of the choices ended up nice, overall good game can't hate

They just kept using the fakeout jumpscares alot, and I mean alot

eg. Opening doors, or a rat poking out a can or whatever cliche fakeout jumpscare you can think of
