One of the most underrated games for me is SSX 3 by EA Vancouver

It's an open world-esque snowboarding game that progressively loads the environment as you race down the mountain. The announcer has cues that announce certain live events happening around the mountain like races or the weather. Makes it feel like the game is alive. Also the soundtrack is great. A game that's similar to this would be Tony Hawk's American Wasteland

Would definitely be in my top 10
