How has no one said supreme yet? There is no box logo from any year that you can buy for retail. And the fact they (used to) never re release anything meant even if the demand went down over time, so did the supply. And any thing could happen to make the demand go back up (famous person wears it then everyone wants it) but Now that the supply is low the price is even higher

I think because to an extent, Supreme has peaked.

Buying new pieces these days, except for maybe box logos or a few pieces each season, is not likely to be a good long term "investment".

There are multiple reasons why, first of all the sentiment is changing towards Supreme. It's already happened in fashion communities and it's only a matter of time until the general population catches on. Also the proliferation of fakes, and extremely good fakes, has got to the point where you can buy any item for a fraction of the resale price and almost no one could tell that it isn't a genuine piece.

Finally, celebrities have started to eschew Supreme in favour of newer independent or trendy brands or even archival fashion. Margins on reselling Supreme are only going to drop in coming years.

Archive designer, pieces that were made in limited quantity / rare sizes

    Raf, undercover, margiela, etc

  • Rick Owens easily number one in this topic... I’ve bought white Geobasket per say for $400 then beat them even more, got tired of it and resold them for $700. I can sell my cretch cargo back for the price I paid for them etc etc
