    Its funny how much hate Drake got for singing simp s*** when he first came out and now you got hood niggas doing the exact same s*** and no one bats an eye. Drake's influence is understated if anything

    I remember even as a kid, people were calling Drake emo, my dad and even people on the radio. now people call him basic they realize what emo really is and how hip hop had to except that change

    Drake popularized melody & more emotional lyrical content for rap artists

    Not to mention he’s the biggest trend setter in our era, everything he touches turns to gold and is used as a blue print or success model for artists that seek mainstream attention
