He just sounded uninspired through out the whole project

Kanye being the focus of 50% of his bar heavy music nowadays

Its kinda interesting he's not bored sounding on his feats at all

Yeah, his production kinda sucks ass nowadays

He hasn't done anything new for like the last 4 albums

Also I’d just like to add his fans that won’t be honest with him

He hasn’t really evolved since VIEWS. Everything feels so...corporate and soulless now. Even though CLB has tracks I genuinely like, as an overall album it’s pretty meh and I don’t think it’s going to be appreciated like VIEWS down the line.

If Donda was trash and CLB was superior I would’ve on here saying exactly that

He really should just take some time off and not even think about dropping a new album until he feels really inspired and brings something new to the table. Cuz everything is so copy paste now

CLB’s tracks were actually solid on their own

I said this in another thread but the inconsistent mixing, bad sequencing, and overall lack of cohesiveness really hurt it imo, feels more of a compilation album

Besides handful of the tracks on the album (2 sexy, Knife Talk, Only love twice, etc) feel like a leftover from those featured artists and Drake feels like the feature instead

I know Drake is worried if he takes a real hiatus that he’ll lose his spot in the game, but the impact will be much greater if he comes back with something undeniably great versus something his diehard fans will go to war over.

Nothing, he's evolved and still making classics this far into his career I can't hate that

at this point he’s like NBA2K or Madden

He’s forced to rap on production that’s not catered to him on features. Which brings the best out of him.

Knife Talk I’m 100% sure was a track made for Savage Mode 2 that Drake really wanted for himself. Sounds out of place on CLB but would fit perfectly on that album.
