It’s fact tho. Wen I worked retail in the mall this bad b**** had a bachelors degree in photography and was outta college for 5 years making 15 a hour taking family photos in the mall. I would never go to school for art. It really comes down to how unique and great you are+networking

Trades are amazing, if you have see strong union, automatic raises, cost of living raises every year, benefits out the ass. 401k Only downside is some trades are very dangerous or hazardous to your health

Bro you need to sit down and ask yourself what you want from your life. If you dont want to go to college that's alright, but you need to know what you want from your life because then youll have something to work toward. Sounds like you dont like school because of class. Newsflash: nobody likes class. Do you like film? If you do, go to class and deal with it. Or dont go to school and make films yourself. You need to know what you want to work toward if you want to be happy. I could tell you to apply at all types of places, but it wont matter and i would feel bad giving you the tip to just work somewhere and have you not progress and work to live your dreams. Idk man, you got your whole life ahead of you.

Sorry I’m not trying to hurt your feelings I’m just trying to be real with you. Going to college for art is a waste of time. Art comes from your soul so what the f*** could someone possibly teach you. I’m not saying to quit photography just make sure you get money that should always be your #1 priority.

I feel that; wasn't prepared for things I find enjoyment in to not be fruitful.. part of growing up. and ill do the grown up work if I can find it
