Delivered is worse. Read, they at least opened the message and maybe had nothing else to say in response to my message. But delivered, they didn't even bother to open that s***

But what really irks me though is people who feel the need to give an excuse for why they didn't reply. "I fell asleep", "I forgot". Who gives a f***. You use your phone everyday, if you really wanted to reply you would have. Makes me feel like I need to come up with some lame lie too when I don't reply

how is this 'leaving on Delivered' s*** works? I left someone on Delivered and couldn't stand to see that little notification icon each time I opened IG, how does people leave others on Delivered all the time without not being annoying about that s***?

Leaving people on delivered is weird and so is having like 1400 unread messages. Why?

I have read receipts on and I open all my messages when I’m able to. If I have something to say back I will, if I don’t then I don’t. I delete all my text threads weekly besides group chats.
