Probably Sgt Pepper or Abbey Road front to back
I like the White Album for the craziness tho
Fun fact her majesty actually goes in between mr mustard and polythene pam but if you edit it back it doesn’t sound right
I think her majesty was added by the engineers and then Paul was pissed after 😂
yeah it was originally intended to be placed in-between those songs you mentioned but after playing it through they realized it didn't fit so they told the engineers to cut it. the dudes in charge of the studios though told the engineers to NEVER throw away any Beatles tapes so the engineers placed it on the end to do something with later and forgot about it. when playing the final mix through the band was caught off guard by it but Paul and the rest of the group actually liked it and told them to keep it there.

This is all true except I’ve read Paul got rid of it cause he personally didn’t like it or something Ali those lines
Whole song is great though I listen to it all the time
for most other bands, if they put out Rubber Soul, it'd be their clear cut magnum opus. but for The Beatles their stuff that they put out after it, is just a tad bit more transcendent to me.
I used to think Abbey Road was overrated but I’ve been listening to it a lot more lately and it really does feel like a perfectly focused record that is a culmination of everything they’ve done as a band. Songs like Something, Because, and I Want You (She’s So Heavy) put it over the edge for me. Other days I’m leaning more towards Revolver or Sgt Pepper. White is great and experimental but it’s a bit too all over the place and while I get that’s the point, I’ll always prefer a more coherent album.
Side 2 of abbey road sucks, the Lennon led Beatles>Paul and George Martin fapping each other

I don't get how you can listen to 'You Never Give Me Your Money' and think that sucks. but to each his own. I guess since you said you prefer the John-led Beatles you probably prefer the more rock based stuff?

Of course when I say it sucks im only speaking relatively in the Beatles sense, it’s still a masterpiece lol. It’s not so much just that I prefer the rock based stuff but what I don’t like as much about Abbey Road and Sgt Pepper is it feels like they are more about being a production showcase than it is about the songs. The suite is nice enough and definitely innovative but at this point it leaves me a bit empty inside. Ironically while I prefer John the John songs there are pretty low tier Beatles. It’s hard for me to fully express
Rubber Soul and The White Album are probably fighting for my top spot, my favorite songs are ones like In My Life, Dear Prudence, Warm Gun, Julia. I guess White Album #1. After those 2 I probably have Revolver and A Hard Day’s Night which I think is underrated heavily. What I prefer is the stuff that holds a lot of emotional weight over the more cutesy direction that Paul tended towards

great explanation man. I totally get what you was trying to convey, and i respect it. I agree to am extent that I prefer John's songs a tad more for the same reasons.

Rishikesh was the peak of their creativity for me

I 100% agree about Abbey Road, it really does balance all the strains of the Beatles, i think it's definitely the boss Beatles album
I always thought Sgt. Pepper was overrated though so that does play into my adjudication of their discography
