Rappers can’t do it because touring to that level requires mainly one thing: families attending.

Pop artists like Ed Sheeran & Taylor Swift can do it because they are the types to attract parents and kids to buy tickets as a “family” type outing. They have music that both 40 year old white women and 12 year old white girls go crazy for.

Hip-Hop artists are too explicit to have a family type appeal. They mainly have one demographic (13-30) and the veterans usually have mainly the 30-50 year old demographic.

According to wikipedia, top 21 highest grossing tours of the 2010s (which most likely means they all did stadium tours) does not include a single rapper.

All are old bands and/or mega popstars that appeal to a wide demographic

Those addendance and revenue numbers from 2018 onwards are just f***ing ridiculous, especially the Oceania and Europe ones. The same with BTS as an Asian act, maybe even more impressive.
You need both a loyal fanbase and mainstream success worldwide, a good reputation for your performances, star power and brand recognition.
