Her entire career really comes down to being a prominent Bernie supporter and slamming Trump in the media

So basically she’s accomplished the same as the average poster in this section?

Interesting we didn’t keep this same energy for Obama when he was cockblocked by Republicons time and time again

Edit: also you didn’t answer the thread’s question. So I assume you agree she hasn’t accomplished anything yet? But that’s not her fault, at all?

I mean, criticize her for her policies or whatever sure. But she’s one of like 5 progressives there. Clearly she’s not gonna have a huge # of bills passed

But the other progressives don’t seem to have the same issues the thread is pointing out

No it’s not, it’s comparing her to other newcomers to the house, progressive or not

Seems to be a pretty central point. She has less bills passed and bipartisan support compared to more central reps. Is that really so surprising?

    Interesting take 🤔

So when someone is fighting for their ideology but big money is stopping them from doing anything they are suddenly unproductive lazy and it'd be better if they just quit?

    Interesting interesting 🤔

More that she is generally less active in actually legislating compared to her colleagues. I don't disagree that her agenda isn't likely to pass but that goes for nearly every member of the House. People rarely get their legislation passed in the first place. If you don't think she should try to sponsor bipartisan efforts and write legislation in ways comparable to the rest of the NY delegation then she might as well not be in Congress

It's a common case of the egg and a chicken

Her party won in many places bc people like AOC pushed amazing ideas and DNC still prefered to lick balls of Republicans than to congratulate A SOCIALIST (🤮🤮🤮🤮)

When she called them out on their bullshit they started crying bc someone punched them

And now we're here talking about WHY IS SHE PUNCHING HER OWN PARTY

They were taking shoots in their own party first

I bet more people know her name than most any other house rep. Seems to me that her approach is to gain public support outside of the house rather than moving more center to compromise and get bills passed.

Bernie gets more amendments passed than just about anyone, and he isn’t even an actual democrat.

What can she do with that public support?

Promote progressive allies in their elections? Idk. I’m not her and I don’t know her complete strategy. But criticizing her for being lazy for not passing bills when it’s obviously not the direction she’s going seems questionable
