Every first world country on the planet has far right political groups yet America is the only country where nothing can get done bc the dems blame the right for all their problems

I think the two biggest factors are the democrats unwillingness to branch out more towards far left ideologies (which in part is also due to this countries pure hatred of socialism) as well as the fact nobody outside of our two party system gets a voice (whereas theres multiple parties in those European countries)

It’s essentially a lose-lose scenario because neither party can take risks since the costs are drastic (especially with what we saw in 2016, when running Bernie against Hillary contributed greatly towards the divide in the Democratic Party which caused record low turnout %s )
