I bought the ATHM40X they're pretty flat/neutral as suggested
I love that, they also don't sound obnoxiously loud
i have xm4s, airpods pro and airpods max and the xm4s are the best, wish i could get the xm5s tho bc the design looks way better

I just got the XM5s and that was one of the deciding factors vs the MX4s for me tbh since they're mostly very similar in quality. Apparently the XM5s have slightly better ANC and sound quality (forgot in what respects to that), but overall are mostly the same deal.
Just got those about a month ago, and also have the Airpods Pro gen 2 and was using ATX-m50x's for years before they started falling apart. The XM5s are a huge upgrade to the m50x imo
today was the day my airpods have officially died lmao. they’re first gen, so I’m in a need a nice set of airbuds. what do ya’ll recommend? what are the best for casual use (at work, relaxing at home)

if u can afford it go for the airpods pro, the noise cancellation is great, especially for those that use public transportation often
Just copped the XM5 earbuds, they're arriving Friday. Since I listen to music everyday, I thought why not.
I've been going through cheap wireless earbuds, for years, so I'm looking forward to hearing the difference.
just bought some hd 600s the hifi life is with me
looking to upgrade from the audio technica m50. been using these for years and years and the durability has been great but they did start bending a way it's not supposed to anymore. I'm a music producer who also wants to use these headphones for casual listening as well. thinking of staying in the Audio Technica brand but open to something new or better.
just got my girl the sony xm4s but maybe the xm5s for myself? anybody have thoughts on this
EDIT: also I preferred at least an option to use a cable. not too crazy about wireless but would be cool if I can still plug it up when I want

AirPods Pro 2. Gen
Audiotechnica M50x
Skullcandy Crusher EVO
Just got the Marshall Monitor II
It is much more comfortable than the Sennheiser momentum 3 I got
I got some TasCams for $30 on cyber monday when usually theyre 80 to 100.
Pretty great, theyve been used a forever in radio stations and audio monitoring in music and tv studios.
Great flattone (they have no tricks or "gimmicks" of eqing and biffing the audio in whatever way) corded headphones and theyre really comfortable. I can even lay down with them sideways with a pillow even tho theyre over the ear because theyre phone arent spherical theyre like flat rectangles.
Would reccomend for both work related audio stuff and also just casual listening. Theyre sturdy as well.
anyone using the dt 990 pro? need some actual headphones for music production. been using some cheap in-ear headphones for way too long now
just bought a pair of moondrop chu's 2 hope we go back to being wired again and being more conscious of how better we all actually looked with just ear buds wired/wireless in general and saving power on our phones too lol.

They are great but they lack bass for listening experience. For music production they are great because they are neutral sounding just some sharp s sounds appear sometimes
