i got paid good. in fact i got paid more as a server than i currently do as a CNA....i havent been a server for like 3/4 years

as a former server when i go to restaurants i bless the servers. all i wanted to do was bring awareness to how bad some servers get treated lol

always been a very generous tipper but most people I know of in the service industry make pretty damn good money

probably has a lot to do with working in manhattan restaurants but I remember one girl in specific had just moved to NYC from LA and she was waiting tables every weekend as a side hustle and she said she was pulling over $500 a weekend easily

if the bill is $15-30 I usually tip half. Anything beyond that is 30% unless the service was dog s***
