    If you don’t block/mute and mark posts as not interesting I assume the For You tab becomes basically unusable

    my blocked and muted lists are very long for this reason, had to get all the dogshit off my timeline.

  • final blow was that month where he baited everyone by very publicly paying accounts big numbers for tweeting, had accounts posting 30k deposits for their tweets leading to a whole new wave of engagement farming accounts appearing to then find out the next month theyre only gonna get paid like $20

    normal people dont wanna use it anymore, people just wanting some money dont wanna use it anymore, the only people left are real life lunatics

    The prioritisation of paid users in replies was truly awful.

    Now the actual feed is increasingly invaded by nonsense; most of the 'big' meme users have started non-stop promoting on1yf4ns at the same time and engagement farming 'HUMANS IN CONTEXT' type accounts are innumerable and re-posting the same content over and over

    You can still curate for the niches that suit you but generally feels like it's a platform on borrowed time?

    Since Elon got it I blocked him and he kept unblocking himself to send me notifications of half his tweets

    And even though I do 0 interaction or really do anything, I get constant far-right memes/posts/etc sent to my phone as notifications all day

    Feels like most of gen z and celebrities stopped using twitter and now all that is left there are oldheads and political/news accounts posting propaganda and outrage bait content 24/7.
