Why do people feel the need to be a c*** randomly? It's like I treat people nicely and what do they do? Act rude towards me ? Especially men do that s*** and call it male bonding.
I'm not talking banter between close friends, I'm taking people that do not know me well
I hate this too. I never throw the first stone. I treat people with respect, and if they return me disrespect, I go nuts and do not let it go. You have to throw hands with them. If somebody disrespects you after showing them respect, you have to grind them all the way down to show them it is not acceptable. And when they apologise, you keep going.

I did this. That person treats me nice now. But still other people do that and it makes it hard for me to be nice tbh.
Even worse when people act like this and when you get at them they are like: why so serious bro I'm just joking.

Cow is my brother man. 10/10
unfortunately most people do not care about the next person
yeah seems like it. Lacking empathy. Even worse when you see some people be racist..
You're learning that people are f***ed up generally and it's really not your fault. If it bothers you don't take that s*** OP. Just because you deserve respect doesn't mean everyone will give it to you.
And to be real unless you have a major rep; 60% of people won't. Don't let it kill u tho. we all go thru it

We will win this s***. Just have to keep strong and hold ground.
Recently I had discussion with someone that I disagreed with. We agreed on a few things, and clearly disagreed on most others. I accepted this discussion to always grow my opinions and perspective.
There happened to be a point where I disagreed with the implementation of anecdotal case studies that have not been cross examined.
He then insulted me and said I didn’t know what a case study is. I then reminded him that he is a dead beat loser by laughing in his face since he declined civility in the face of disagreement.

I really needed to see someone good out here in the wild today. You’re the s***

Yeah it's true just like I had to learn that not all people have to like me

Stay dangerous
No sense of community left in our culture, everyone just wants to be better than each other.

Man you really recognise it when people turn on you just for money and abandon all their principles

i used to think most people thought like me, now after the last year plus i know that's def not the case

Yep. It comes from a sense of no faith/nothing to look forward to except money and power.

What changed your mind?

I find this to be an exhausting reality.
I make a considerable amount of money by taking over a business my father developed from nothing (he grew up in the projects).
I find that many people I have been friends with now feel the duty to ‘size up’ to me. “OMG MADE 3,003,000 IN CRYPTO”
Cool, I am glad for you, but we are not in competition. Apples to oranges

Yup. It's disgusting and no morals are left. Blame social media. It's the root of this.

Bingo. I have deleted all except IG for memes. Even that has become... benign.
What changed your mind?
the gross racial and political climate that extended to the mainstream last year. the circumstances of the pandemic

Honestly, social media makes it even more apparent because all these things are there to see. It's just the general direction we are heading.
at the same time more and more people are more open
