Rotten systems established by rotten people breeds a rotten society. Just gotta do what you can at a micro level to go against it
the gross racial and political climate that extended to the mainstream last year. the circumstances of the pandemic
Exactly and that influences a lot of people . Talked to a friend from Britain and he offered his weird racist views without a glimpse of shame.

Lmao they really don’t give a f*** over there BRITS
Why do people feel the need to be a c*** randomly? It's like I treat people nicely and what do they do? Act rude towards me ? Especially men do that s*** and call it male bonding.
I'm not talking banter between close friends, I'm taking people that do not know me well
My God I hated growing up and having people constantly test me, only to learn that it's some weird game that if you push back they "respect you now". Like bro just don't be mean in the first place like damn.
I learned that s*** wayyy to late too
Bingo. I have deleted all except IG for memes. Even that has become... benign.
I deleted all of it.

Bruh they really don't. And at the same time people try so hard to not appear racist
I deleted all of it.
Congratulations on being free. Seriously. I hope to move in that direction as well.
Honestly, social media makes it even more apparent because all these things are there to see. It's just the general direction we are heading.
at the same time more and more people are more open
The general direction of our culture is collapsing though.

Bruh you described it perfectly. For example: some people compliment you and then when you don't react to their liking they call you a b**** or something. it's this weird game of "pushing back " but also not "caring"

Lmao I lived with someone once who called my friend Chris a token black friend as an attempt to gain moral high ground unnecessarily in discussion.
It triggered me because if you are not racist, many people who consider themselves to be A L L I E S will fight to make you below them in some fashion. Just my opinion
Very rarely does it have anything to do with you. Usually dealing with some other s***. Brush it off and keep it pushing

yeah also this , people are looking for targets
It's all a cycle. Those people aren't happy there miserable there projecting there own misery onto others. It says nothing about you and a lot about them.

The guy had a divorce a year before
He was flat broke and carried that baggage into discussion. I should have known better
When we were discussing, he randomly said my friend was a token black friend. For no reason. This pushed me into defense mode, because I find it offensive that I would tokenize a dear friend for my own political standing.
Does that make sense?

Projection is the defining factor of the moment.

That makes sense now, thanks.
What a weird move that is tho

You’re welcome. Yeah, I did not retain respect for him after that. He was positioning it as a GOTCHA moment, when in reality it was just an insecure dig on a friend who has no ill intentions.
Yeah just really f***ing weird at the end of the day. Lmao

True colors don’t take long to see nowadays! W in the long run.

facts. Sorted that out
worse when it's your own friends when you do even the slightest thing to improve your life and they show their true colours smh
I hate this too. I never throw the first stone. I treat people with respect, and if they return me disrespect, I go nuts and do not let it go. You have to throw hands with them. If somebody disrespects you after showing them respect, you have to grind them all the way down to show them it is not acceptable. And when they apologise, you keep going.
You throw the first stone often on ktt
