A couple car accidents have been pretty bad. For one of them I was going 50+ down a dark highway and some dumbass high school girl who was high af went through a stop sign and crossed in front of me without looking. I ran right into that car before I could brake fully and almost killed the passenger.

Another time, I had a green light and went through an intersection. Some old mf drove through the red and t boned my car, which spun me into another car. Went to the hospital with a headache but didn't sustain any lasting damage.

I hate driving man. I get flashbacks sometimes, especially going through intersections.

I totally feel you fam. When I’m driving out in the streets of LA at night, I get panic attacks going through lights thinking someone’s crossing a red at high speeds. I need someone else in the car with me focusing on the sides

Wow, yeah, that's exactly what happens to me. LA too. I'll be driving around late at night and even with nobody around I subconsciously expect to get hit. Probably the most overt form of trauma I deal with on a weekly basis.

I had to visit the ER with breathing issues (I have asthma) and they eventually checked me into the hospital and hooked me to this breathing machine for the first night. For about 8-12ish hours or so I really thought I was gonna die, my lungs were failing that bad. Being in the ER specifically almost felt like being in a circle of hell or something, seeing others doing even worse in the hallway and hearing people in pain. I was really close to losing consciousness for an hour or two.

Fortunately, I was lucky (aside from the fees) to have a relatively considerate staff assisting me once I got transferred to a more permanent room. I’ve heard too much about people having horrible care in my same position. It felt so good to get checked out of the hospital a couple days later. I ended up doing my first competitive 5k a couple weeks back (in about 22min) and it felt like a real achievement w that in mind 🙌🏾

i had a best friend in middle + high school, who, on the last night of our senior graduation trip, tried to kill me and my three other friends and her boyfriend because she somehow convinced herself that i was trying to sleep with her boyfriend, and my other friends were trying to hide and encourage it.

she absolutely lost it and i distinctly remember running to the kitchen and grabbing all the knives and sharp objects and throwing them over the fence to our neighbour's yard. she tried to choke me, pushed my friend down two flights of stairs, and tried to gouge another friend's eye out with her nails.

the neighbours heard the absolute carnage from next door, climbed over the fence, and helped us physically restrain her

the aftermath was f***ing brutal with broken glasses and broken furniture and blood all over the floor (there's a photo that we took in case we needed it for the police, and we look back at it now and shiver lol)

she attacked her boyfriend the most brutally, and he graduated, received his diploma, and took grad photos two days later with a massive 3 inch gash on his face.

it sent us all to therapy for over a year, and i now can't go to a beach without thinking someone is going to kill me

I had an "ischemic" stroke whatever that is - I would go to sleep at night and around 2-3 am i would wake up with this throbbing headache (felt like someone had inserted a metal rod in my arteries going to the brain) - This would go on for 2 years with the headache slowly getting much worse - My dumbass would wake up because of the headache and think maybe my pillow sucks

so I would sleep on the other side or flip the pillow

One day the same thing happens but my f***ing headache is now 100x in severity - I immediately wake up and stood up in hopes that maybe it will f***ing subside but it just kept getting worse for a minute or two until it finally subsided - When it did tho - I felt so tired and dizzy like I had just come from a crazy cardio session from the gym.

S*** got me scared like a mfr and I went to the hospital where the mfing doctor was like "bitch you been having this s*** and you aint come to the hospital even once? you f***ing tripping dawg - You have high bloodpressure (apparently at the levels where old people have when they about to have heart attack - im 27 btw) anyways - The doctor f***ing scared me more than the dammn headache tho.

Anyways - I got meds and s*** seems to be okay right now.
if I had not gone to the hospital - I would have had a stroke in the brain and s*** could have gone south.

TLDR: I had high blood pressure for 3 years but didnt know it. doctor said im a dumbass but now im on meds and s*** is fine or else I would have been braindead

I was in this area about 40 seconds before this happened, the craziest thing is i’d finished work that day and walked to the train station with my manager who had us cross the street at an earlier point, every other day i’d be on my own and if i was that day i probably would have been caught up in it
