Lol foh korn themselves will tell you they were heavily inspired by faith no more, a far better band btw

Totally influenced by FNM but very different bands. Korn’s music is way more personal and emotional whereas FNM have always been really tongue-in-cheek. Not saying Korn don’t have a sense of humor but FNM’s sense of humor seems way more integral to their music than with Korn.
I do prefer FNM, too, though.

Follow the Leader - Take a Look in a Mirror was so good.

Some great songs on See You on the Other Side and Untitled.

The Nothing was the closest they've sounded to their old sound but still nothing really hit me like their old stuff does.

Issues is their peak IMO. I love how eerie and atmospheric it is

Angel Dust is a great album

i'll revisit it again, but lately i've been listening to nothing but motown and new wave , so it'll have to be in a month or so

I think both Korn and FNM influenced those bands, and if they weren’t directly influenced by Korn, they definitely owe Korn for making that kind of music acceptable in the mainstream. FNM were big but are still a one-hit wonder (maybe a two-hit wonder if you live in the UK or South America) as far as the layperson is concerned, as much as that pains me to say, and as much as they’d probably hate to admit it, I bet FNM wouldn’t be as popular now if all of those nu-metal bands hadn’t spent their whole careers bigging them up. Korn proved you didn’t have to be goofy like the Chili Peppers to have a hugely successful funk/rap-influenced rock band.

God....watching old KoRn videos and they're so good.

KoRn, Rage Against the Machine, Limp Bizkit, System of a Down, Slipknot, Pantera......good times.
