    Nipsey

S*** just don’t feel natural and really unfair given his career trajectory if you been following since even the Jay Z buying the Crenshaw tape days let alone before that

Pop really hurt though bruh The way he went out was so senseless and unnecessary. Over a watch. Dude was younger than me and I’m 23. That s*** hit hard.

pop still f***s with me. my friend put me on his first tape like the week it drop and all we did was play welcome to the party. i remember 50 was on hot 97 and ebro was saying some s*** like “we’re the real ny hip hop station we play the real artists and local s***” but fif asked why they never played pop and everybody was stumbling. pop had so much skill he was just beginning to show and he was moving different than other ny rappers he was really gonna put the city on his back. he’s one of my favorite rappers that came out the past 10 years but i can’t listen to his music because his passing is so f***ed up and it’s hard for me to accept it. i remember exactly where i was when i found out and that weekend i was in the club crying like b**** because they had a whole playlist for him it still bugs me

Not a rapper, but Aaliyah. Like that whole plane crash was not an accident, there was definitely something really s***ty that was behind the scenes who had a hand in that crash.

    I would say everyone tbh

When Mac news broke out, I literally got up from my bed and was in shock. He was evolving so much as an artist and legit just a good dude. He was also my age when he passed and that hit me in a way.

Pop also hit me, it was nice seeing him growing as an artist so quick and gaining stardom relatively fast. He was moving away from drill and experimenting with his sound. Plus he grew up around 20 min from me and it’s fascinating watching someone from your city taking on a world.

Nipsey death made me check it out his latest album and I couldn’t stop playing it. Still heavy on rotation to this day. I knew about him since he first started blowing up in early 2010’s but lost traction in following his music. He was a definition of a hustler and his music makes you want to grind harder and look at life as marathon rather than a race.

X death was random and definitely made me feel some type of way. Would’ve been interesting to watch which direction he would’ve evolved by now. He clearly had a talent watching him grow as an artist would’ve been interesting.

Juice death was also real random and heartbreaking. He was very talented and had whole life ahead of him. Still play him to this day and makes me sad that’s he’s gone over accident that should’ve never happened.

Wasn’t really big on Peep but he made some good songs that I still listen to this day and clearly was talented. Sucks that he struggled with an addiction, because he had a lot ahead of him.

Young Dolph is also heartbreaking. He was nice and stand up dude that made good trap music compared to many others. I always feel like he was underrated and stayed in his own lane. I always said to myself that if I ever was a rapper and was dropping a debut album, Dolph would’ve been on it for sure.

There’s more unfortunate deaths in hip hop but these that popped in my head rn. All these guys were talented and had bright future ahead of them. I still listen to their music and will forever. I wish they were still here, but at least they made a mark on the world and left something memorable for the rest of humanity.

X (Jah) still has kinda messed up knowing how much potential he had as an artist, and it gotten take away from him at such a young age.

Plus he was really changing for the better, which I believe was truly genuine and he was about to be a positive example of someone who can really turn around for good who had an evil past

    Mac Miller

Was my favorite rapper for like a year when i was 14. Back in the watching movies to faces to good am run

Was just amazing then seeing him completely reach another atmosphere in swimming (and circles) with his art was just crazy to me
