the "no skips" criteria would exclude sooooo many classics tho
i mean by that criteria The Chronic isnt a classic
The Chronic is a 10/10

Hell, there are albums that I LOVE that has tracks I skip
if ur out here calling albums with skips classics idk what to tell u
Influence/Impact is just a small factor in defining a classic for me, it's all about the quality of the record

not necessarily though, most great albums don't have any influence like that anyways, it's a s***ty way to define a classic

what defines good/great albums?

ok, so do you have an article that shows an artist manipulating a music review website to post a positive review about their album?

there's a reason why PRs exists and why when an artists performs for a big blog they get a good review for their albums. It's transparent but not like too blatant - you just have to read stories concerning Pitchfork and James Blake, pitchfork and Kanye, pitchfork and Sun kil Moon, pitchfork and ariel pink, pitchfork and Swans etc. to see my point.
Take Care is a classic
Let's move on from that
a classic album
an album that sets the tone for a great genre of music with a collection of songs that are not only great album cuts but amazing singles. Also, replay value is a very important!
