Love Wiz but:

He wasn't able to keep up with the changing sound of hip-hop. He had his own sound/wave (largely Cardo) but his flows and his voice remained the same. He almost had it right at the beginning of his second verse in Bake Sale but it still just didn't hit right. He's a little stuck in his ways and showed little to no growth.

It did. But he lost the core fan base. He still makes massive hits, movies tv etc

He just doesn't have that type of sauce. Drake is great at hopping on the trend of the time and turning out a nice OVO Packaged pop-rap song. Travis makes great Albums and he can make a catchy song when he tries.

Wiz just seems to talk about weed a lot tbh, and a lot of the time it's just ok.

Lack of versatility, really. The likes of Drake and Travis etc have become stale now but they were a lot hungrier and would come with different elements to their music on the way up in a way Wiz never did
