My dad left when I was like 10 and my mom was a scorned and angry woman who took her anger out on me and my siblings (especially me because I was the oldest and burdened the weight my dad left)
My mom is responsible for a lot if not the majority of pain in my life and for a long time it’s held me back but I’m 23 now and I got myself. I don’t rely on her for s*** and yeah I got CPTSD as well as other mental health disorders due to how I was raised but I’m not gonna keep letting it hold me back.
To those who share this pain or are currently going through something similar all I would say is your past is your past but it’s to you to decide your future
