i wouldnt ever punish them. i would want them to know its okay to make mistakes and make them not scared to come tell me when they did something wrong. id hug them and love them lots and if they do something bad we could just talk about how thats not good and not do it again and hopefully by raising them like that theyd have enough respect for me theyd listen always

This reminds me of something else actially. Qhen I was a kid probably like 5-7 I would curse hellaaa and my mom would put soap in my mouth and then eventually spicy zhit idk if it was chilli powder or what but that s*** was horrible

maybe not the worst but when I was in like 6th grade my parents forced me to go to church every Sunday and one Sunday we had a guest speaker and me and the homie were drawing funny ass cartoon pictures on the worship service schedule paper and tryna not to laugh and that just made us laugh even more and the pastor was pissed so after service ended he let everyone leave except for us and then he made us get on our knees and we had to hold up a chair w our arms straight up to the sky (this some old korean punishment bs. Usually it’s just a stack of books tho and not a chair) and after like 15 secs of this bs I was yelled some like “fuck this you aren’t my dad I ain’t doing this bs” then ran out of the room but my friend was too scared to rebel against the pastor so his dumbass stayed there holding that heavy ass chair

ended up telling my mom what happened cause she could tell I was mad as s*** then all the parents had a meeting and our pastor got in big trouble but he didn’t get fired or nothing. Just chewed out by our parents.

my youth pastor was such a lame I remember it was 3 Sunday services where he spoke about masturbation and how we need to fight the temptation and in my head I was like “this mfer prolly got a masturbation problem and he projecting this s*** onto us” We was barely old enough to even be playing w our d***s like that tbh

my dad used to hit me with a belt for minor reasons, like me not eating fish he made because I didn't like it

A long time ago, I was at my old Jamaican friend's house at a cookout. I accidently stepped on dog s*** in the backyard without knowing.

So, I stepped into the house with the dog s*** in my shoes and I just noticed the stains on the floor. His older aunt stared me down, cursed me out in Patois, then smacked the life out of me with a metallic belt.

It was the most painful punishment I've ever had in my life. Even my own family was like "Wtf" when they found out about it.
