idk if itll help but:

tap L1 as an enemy attacks to parry
hold L1 to just block any attack (increases structure gauge tho)
holding L1 + moving the left joystick down (also left or right) will avoid high attacks which are most of them
holding L1 + moving the left joystick up will avoid low attacks/sweeps

it really comes down to memorizing a few tells and knowing that someone is always ready to sneak you lol low attacks still get me tho

Cosign this 100%. Ducking is just as important than parrying in this game.

dodging a flurry of attacks thru ducking and jumping without taking a single hit also makes ur d*** mad hard sheeeeeeeeeesh

i love this difficult ass game. s*** is a breath of fresh air.

just got a Kill Nil off Sean moving on age 28

lol got him at 24 but still ain't beat the next boss

nice man. i couldve gotten through younger but had some dumb deaths leading up to him smh but yeah thats why i had to get my age down because Kuroki was doing me in during her second phase lol

you beat her? yeah that second phase is crazy

oh nah lol but i was really waiting until i got my starting age down. there was no point of going in there age 43+ like i was doing

Those two f***ing elites before Sean are destroying me

if you want, you could bring a staff into that room to turn one of them into a mini Sean lol

yeah id lose a year or two in that room lol the woman is a little bit easier to parry but both are pretty stronger fighters. I'd say this is where you make sure your avoids/dodges are down pat (in prep for Sean) and get a few heavy attacks in after weaving their combos.

The thing is I beat Sean quite easily because his moves are quite easy to dodge and you know when he’s about to do the sweep

But those two elites before him are always taking 3-4 of my years

i stopped trying to rush them and just weave everything then punish or leg sweep one of them so i can focus 1-on-1 for a little bit

They keep dodging my leg sweep and then they jump me at the same time

i meant focus leg sweep my bad

Getting my ass kicked at the museum now, reached game over at the hallucination part

bladed weapons tho bats still superior lol

Museum is finally kaput but not young enough yet

Not entirely sure how I beat the Museum boss. The openings to attack felt almost not existent.
