I'm torn cause on one hand I'm also obsessed with Lebowski and Fargo (and especially Millers Crossing) but I was a kid when I saw those. No Country/Burn After Reading/Serious Man/True Grit back to back still like the hardest run I've seen anybody do in such a short time in my life as a theatre goer.
The Man Who Wasn't There another favorite that counts as slow
I still need to see millers crossing and TMWWT
But Coens is one of those you can’t go wrong when it comes to picking your favorites by them (besides the few obvious lows they’ve had) but I mean besides all those we’ve mentioned you still got Blood simple which is top 5 Coens for me personally

get back to me when youre up to date. You are not ready for Miller's Crossing
jealous you get to watch that masterpiece for the first time.
The Hudsucker Proxy is underrated. It’s got some pretty entertaining cartoon logic.

Definitely. I think ima watch both of them this weekend, I blindly bought millers crossing a while back just off the strength of it being Coens and ppl raving about it

Can't beat the cartoon logic of Raising Arizona
All of J.C. Chandor's films have been slow-burns so far lol
we must have different definitions
Manchester By The Sea / Prisoners/ No Country For Old Men / Blade Runner 2049 are some of mine
I couldnt even make it through no country for old men one time because of how gruesome it is wdym watching it over and over again???

Idk is Tenet a slow burn?
Can’t think of any off the top of my head. Any popular one people naming Id probably be inclined to agree with
It kinda tries to be
I've heard conflicting things about this (take shelter), how much cosmic horror/lovecraftian influence is in here? Or am i tripping and thinking of something else
Very little, mid film
One of my favorite films ever. Top 10 unquestionably
Garland film in your top 10
Very little, mid film
So i've heard, people been telling me i should skip it
While it’s mentioned Top 3 Coens:
No country
Serious man
True grit
Lebowski
I can add Le Cercle Rouge in the mix because of how slow the process of executing the heist and the quick fallout after the heist
