i never really look at that playlist, my guess would be that it shows it to people who listen to similar music as your initial listeners and factors in the genre you tag it as somehow, then after a few k plays it does something similar with the people who have liked it and added it to playlists and also updates the related tracks the same way

Word that makes sense, so plays do matter if but idk I honestly have had songs get 500-1000 plays all in like a few days or even hours and after that just nothing. Like someone prominent will repost it then after a few hours/days it's basically invisible
