People that act like they were day 1 Pop smoke fans are annoying
i like Pooh Shiesty a lot but i think his ceiling depends on his versatility he got one flow he been doing forreal and its hard but i could see him being like DaBaby where he’s commercially viable but has everyone tired of him by the end of the year. i hope not though 7.62 God one of the best songs of last year
Pooh has the skill set
For what it’s worth, his rep is strong
He also has the look
All he needs to do now is not miss the layup
He looks like Memphis’ Ma$e
Baby has the skills but he’s ugly
It took Pop getting murked for the world to catch on (unfortunately)
Pooh is having the stars align for him perfectly

Nah.. that nigga look like a base head
Pooh has it all on paper, now he he needs to deliver super bowl weekend
nah, i mean like make fun of him even though he has crazy potential then switch up after he's everywhere. i remember when people used to call pop smoke "poop smoke" and say he has a weak chin then switch up and post woo back wednesday every wednesday
I'll never forget mad people saying his sound was repetitive and that he would fall off soon. Those same people now saying he had so much potential and would've done bigger things had he not been killed
Damn I left KTT for a few days and it seem like Pooh Shiesty done became the next big thing overnite

Lmao @ that weak jawline thread
The question is can he make records or is he only a street rapper. Difference between being an artist and a street rapper.
I think his floor is Young Dolph (loyal regional fanbase) and ceiling is 2020 Lil Baby
You think he’ll get a drake feature?

Something about this sounds racist

What how is that racist. Artist vs Street Rapper are two different things.

Why can’t street rappers be artists?
Crazy how all the artists Gucci signed are blowing up now guess he still has the vision
What Viet said. I think this album gonna do right around 100-150k tho
Hell no . Half of that will be a win .
I hope he sell a lot but I see more like 40k
Why can’t street rappers be artists?
Most cannot be artistes because they are not talented/gifted enough to be an artist. Example Meek Mill/NBA Youngboy are street rappers and they do struggle to become mainstream. I even could put Lil Durk in that category. Drake/J-Cole/Post Malone(might not be called a rapper by most)/Kendrick Lamar are artistes. Artist and street rapper are two totally different things. Most rappers fit in both categories and others can only fit in the rapper category. I might be wrong with my ideology.

both meek and youngboy are mainstream as f*** they aren't on the same level as drake and kendrick but they are still mainstream

They are not mainstream(60% street and 40% mainstream). Youngboy is a dope rapper but he does struggle to be come mainstream. Like the guy has the talent but something is blocking him. It may be his songwriting skills/image/etc.
I agree
Yes Young Thug is an artist/rapper. He fits in both categories. When you look at him you just know he is an artist.
