bottom 2??? it's easily better than Made In America and Who Gon Stop Me
smh that beat nice as hell imo
it's the sample that ruins it, the pitch sounds like nails on chalkboard to me g
Could KanYe pull off this soundtrack?
idk he killed the production on white dress off man with the iron fists soundtrack tho
This s*** always makes me feel so nostalgic
Yeah that beat switch is a dopamine response for me
Glaciers of ice
THIS THIS THIS THIS
s*** sounds like a video game nightmare where I'm gonna get stabbed
My second would be Liquid Swords but moreso cause GZA skated on it
Might have to make a seperate best beat for the post OB4CL era though
this s***'s tuff tho
Yes
controversial choice
!https://youtu.be/Lw3tjdCM3LUDomestic Violence is for sure his best lyrical track.
That nurse line kills me
Love seeing this thread as I am on a Wu-Tang binge lately.
These are my favorite beats of his:
The way the bass drives the instrumental in this song
This is such a simple beat. Two notes (for most of the beat), a drum break, not even really a significant bass line to speak of. The vibe/world it creates is HUGE. RZA was a master of making all-encompassing atmospheres out of simple elements and this beat really showcases that. While we're on this album though I have to mention...
The ones who know, know. Cinematic game-changing s***, no Alchemist (My current fave producer) without the groundwork laid on this whole album. Blue Raspberry's inclusion on this song was a brilliant, brilliant maneuver, but I digress.
This one never gets love. This is one of those perfect outros. S*** sounds like a baby photo. The double down on the beat when Raekwon comes in >>>
RZA made this beat when he was depressed. When I'm depressed I have a hard enough time brushing my teeth. This dude was scary 93-95, other producers are indebted to this man for loosening his chokehold on the game.
The best one though, bar none, is...
S/O to the person on KTT1 that sent me down a Wu-Tang rabbit hole a few years back by posting this song. This s*** is transcendental. Not much is going on in this song instrumentally, but you feel it in every ounce of your core when you take it all in. This is like one of those beats that you wonder how the f*** RZA thought to put these things together. S*** man I may have to try PCP, this song is raw genius.
Sorry if this was too long but '93-'95 RZA is tied with Alc for my favorite producer and I could talk this s*** all day if you let me
