everytime i hear Nutmeg I can't help but think it's DOOM, i know Ghost is on record saying DOOM acknowledged Ghost influenced the way he spit but even the beat sounds like DOOM

This is such a simple beat. Two notes (for most of the beat), a drum break, not even really a significant bass line to speak of. The vibe/world it creates is HUGE. RZA was a master of making all-encompassing atmospheres out of simple elements and this beat really showcases that. While we're on this album though I have to mention...

The ones who know, know. Cinematic game-changing s***, no Alchemist (My current fave producer) without the groundwork laid on this whole album. Blue Raspberry's inclusion on this song was a brilliant, brilliant maneuver, but I digress.

RZA made this beat when he was depressed. When I'm depressed I have a hard enough time brushing my teeth. This dude was scary 93-95, other producers are indebted to this man for loosening his chokehold on the game.

S/O to the person on KTT1 that sent me down a Wu-Tang rabbit hole a few years back by posting this song. This s*** is transcendental. Not much is going on in this song instrumentally, but you feel it in every ounce of your core when you take it all in. This is like one of those beats that you wonder how the f*** RZA thought to put these things together. S*** man I may have to try PCP, this song is raw genius.

Sorry if this was too long but '93-'95 RZA is tied with Alc for my favorite producer and I could talk this s*** all day if you let me

Do you actually like this album? I think RZA isn't the type of rapper who can carry a project but for one verse here and there he's amazing (just like Deck).
