I've always heard passages and quotes from his writings and know plenty about the man himself but i never really read his books from beginning to end

Thinking about checking out at least these:

What's the best order to read these and am i missing anything urgent that i should get through first?

Also where do i start with his shorter teachings? Talking about the Libri teachings class A-E

Crowley ain't that interesting or spectacular. Go read something more insightful. Or if you're interested in Crowley watch a Doc. F*** his books

How about nah, i'm curious to read the things he said himself, instead of going off exaggerated stories from people that never met the guy

Whether you like him or not he did have a significant influence on the occult and i'm very interested in reading more about his work before judging his character

Also, he wasn't a satanist he was more of a early troll calling himself the great beast 666. It was moreso a jab at christianity because he was raised so strictly

I've seen some docs but they're about his life. I wanna know about his studies. A lot of people are prejudiced against him but he did know a lot about the Jewish kaballah etc which is very fascinating stuff

OP just so you know, he did troll a lot but he also spoke in codes frequently. He may say one thing that actually means something totally different to those who "get" it, and it can make a huge difference in the real meaning. Sometimes it may be something lowkey about child molestation, for example, as he was big into s***magick. Just a heads up

Ive heard this, but i’m not sure what to do with the information like the way i see it all i can do is be somewhat informed in Thelema, OTO teachings and the Kaballah (and its relation with the Thoth deck) and hope to “get” it as much as possible

I’ve only read Moonchild, which was a pretty interesting novel. Believe it influenced Twin Peaks to some degree iirc. It’s funny seeing people try to dissuade you from reading his work though, he’s more of an overweight troll than some monster lol.
