I’m trying to make it to at least a year with this company but me don’t think I’ll make it that long
Edit: for context I've been here for six months already
depends on a couple circumstances
I wont be able to quit until 2025 lol.
Uncle sugar Sam got me until 2031
How much TIS you gonna have at that point? At least 8 years? You may as well become a lifer at that point bro
I enjoy where I work and the people I work with so I don’t really think about these things.
I haven’t actually quit a job either.

There are so many companies hiring right now, I'd start looking around if you're unhappy at your current company.

Only gonna have 6 years TIS at the end, my contract is 6 years.
Do all officers gotta do that 10 year commitment thing?
Low key might drop a flight packet and become a warrant if I do decide to stay in

I’m on the officer side of things bro
They offered me an rotc scholarship and offered to pay for my school+ housing and I signed it like a dumbass two years ago in exchange for 8 years active duty and my time in doesn’t start until I commission
How quickly can someone move into an intermediate position in a corporate setting?
And what kind of corporate setting are we talking about like some normal office type s***?

I think aviation is the only one with 10 year commitment but I might be wrong. I don’t see how people can look at that commitment and be like “sign me up” when unless you’re warrant by the time you’re O3 you’re not even flyin
And yeah I heard warrant is the way to go, those dudes got it made don’t show up for formation, don’t gotta play the f*** f*** games of enlisted and political s*** of the officer world, just chillin and being an “expert”
