As soon as I get a better offer. But for my current situation, idk how much I wanna pay. As a dude who lives in Georgia, I think I need at least 80-90K to f*** with these corporate niggas. Ain't no cap.
Isn’t cost of living relatively cheap there? 90k you would be living like a focking king

atlanta is pretty expensive nowadays
What don’t you like about your job?
It’s a startup so it’s not like it’s well established yet. I do many things beyond my job title (which is common in a startup and not necessarily a bad thing) and don’t really make the average salary as I would at a different company for the same title. No option to work from home or even hybrid and doesn’t look like they’ll budge anytime soon (all me mates either have hybrid or WFH) also they FOCKED me over when I got covid and don’t have my accumulated “PTO” anymore for something I had no control over and I caught it when I was at work cause there was a small outbreak in the office
I doubt I’ll make it a year friends
Leave now then companies expect our generation to move around in the early part of our careers

Big Bingo
I'm leaving my current spot within a year
Can't deal with these old folks and the culture
Miss the startup life but not the salary
I’m on the officer side of things bro
They offered me an rotc scholarship and offered to pay for my school+ housing and I signed it like a dumbass two years ago in exchange for 8 years active duty and my time in doesn’t start until I commission
you getting paid more as an o-1 than an e-7 tho at least
They don’t give a f*** about you.
I put my 2 weeks in at all my jobs and they did everything they could to push me out. Cut my hours and let me go the same day I put my 2 weeks in.
Worry about yourself and less about them.
I’m trying to make it to at least a year with this company but me don’t think I’ll make it that long
Edit: for context I've been here for six months already
Do 1.5-2 atleast
If you hit a a year and dont get atleast a 5% raise, ask for it right away if not more.
When you hit two years you should be asking for atleast a 20% raise.
I think 2 years is a sweet spot to leave because no one will look at stint of that length funny

S***. Anything less than 90K and you really not making money off the time you're spending making the bread.
I had a 60K job and that s*** was gone as hell soon after I left.
Plus I have a business I need to fund, so I basically have a dependent. And I have debts I need to pay off asap
But mostly... I'm a real nigga. I deserve that s***. If I take less, I'm kinda not really doing myself the best opportunity.
A $60K remote might be alright. But $60K is the minimum you should even be going for.
If you're doing a a $60K remote, that means you making bread while applying for other jobs. At least with a $90K you can show loyalty to your employer.

S***, I'm trying to! I'm broke as hell right now. I just recently moved here to Atlanta, so I'm looking for a job that can give me enough income to not only function, but put out more content and events. If I'ma work, I'm also trying to do something with that actually aligns in my fields--brand/design, event hosting, or business communications at least.
I tried to run tournaments with a lot of effort and no funding and that's how I found out that was a waste of time. So now, I'm looking for someone to pay for/underwrite a tournament for me (whether it be sponsoring of my company, or them being a client, or me working for a company in a capacity where I can learn and meet others in relevant networks). In the meantime, I'm looking for consistent income and doing freelance design work.
But I need some real bread so I can be on some real s***. So I've been hitting LinkedIn hard, with the recommendation of my roommate who makes $90K.
