Genuinely think IHE and YMS made him feel bad for liking Joker so he overcompensated by calling it a movie for children and saying its bad

He even has some great points (that reveal with the girlfriend being spelled out for the audience) but he just muddles it with all these weird insults to anyone who likes the movie, its so f***ing bitter

Also the white boy who got famous for saying Parasite is a woke movie reviewed it. Havent even seen it but i know its an awful f***ing video

Idk about videos but AV Club and David Ehrlich have published some of the worst film crit I’ve ever read

I like IHE and YMS but all of their takes on Joker were just as bad as Ralph’s

I don’t feel like they were consistent with how they normally review films

I also tend to take their opinions with a grain of salt because of how cynical they tend to be with a lot of film.

So has Jacobin. Also if the “Joker is a leftist film” threads I saw on twitter count they take the 1st spot

Jeremy Jahns' Knives Out review is pretty awful. You can tell he's just trying to push an agenda to satisfy his new legion of anti-TLJ/Disney Star Wars fans. He even has a line in it that's something along the lines of, "Rian Johnson movies just aren't as good as Rian Johnson thinks they are" yet pre-TLJ he said many times he was a huge fan.

That's probably not the worst ever, but it's a recent example that made me roll my eyes.
