most of the people that are always on about the decline of Western civilization are typically Repubs/conservatives who think the abolishment of traditional gender norms and the acceptance of the LGBT+ community is somehow a symptom of a crumbling society (this for some reason is never extended to things like the Roman Empire or the Greeks who had absolutely legendary societies and had their spars with LGBT+ stuff lol)
