Kengi 💭OPJul 18, 2023X7JQ9L2MF4A8Zmost of the people that are always on about the decline of Western civilization are typically Repubs/conservatives who think the abolishment of traditional gender norms and the acceptance of the LGBT+ community is somehow a symptom of a crumbling society (this for some reason is never extended to things like the Roman Empire or the Greeks who had absolutely legendary societies and had their spars with LGBT+ stuff lol)
western civilization is in fact in some sort of a downswing, but it isn’t because of trivial s*** like LGBT+ stuff
my eyes would be more on the rise of A.I (cough cough materialism and scientism) and hyper-individualismright wingers will post a group of black guys hanging out in a park and caption "the west is declining this is the end of our society"

Most of it is overblown or literally lies from individuals that are either mad at progressive rights/ideals, have a huge hate boner for usa/canada, have a weird distaste/opinion in women or nok straights, extremy religious and mad thing arent going 1hundred percent their way & someone that is upset that a certain level of discrimination/regression isnt socially acceptable anymore.

not really so much of the decline of western civilization as it is the comfort with modernity and technology. world we live in today was pretty unimaginable just 25 years ago. people are just having a really hard time accepting reality.

i think that we are probably in late stage capitalism when you consider that distraction has never been monetized quite like this. system kinda allows everyone to indulge in anything. but at some point there has to be a correction.

The west is declining as a global hegemonic force due to its own ideological contradictions reaching breaking points. The western way will still persist indefinitely, but it won't be writing the narrative anymore. That ball is in China's court now.
