    I’ve been around Jews all the time
    If he starts killing them or oppressing them maybe I’ll have a change of mind. I don’t support him either btw or listen to his music but I don’t see an issue with what he does or says.

    I'm jewish. I love Desean Jackson so much as a football player lol. Was my favorite guy as a kid and I still love him today. Only NFL jersey I've ever bought and I'm a Bears fan.

    I think it's extremely easy, especially for minorities who come from not well-off areas to be indoctrinated into hating jews. And I don't blame them for it.

    I try to imagine myself as a black kid who grew up in a bad area. I know I can't ever actually put myself in their shoes, but I try. Then put that kid in the NFL, surrounded by jews as their agents, owners, accountants and basically a lot of people around them trying to control their life (for better or for worse.)

    Then give that person one radicalized friend who has read too deep into some conspiracy theories about jews running the media. He tells the NFL player to "look around." Who's handling his money? Who's his agent? Who chooses what quotes from him go up on ESPN?

    It's a fair fear on the surface. I just wish people were more educated to understand that Jews aren't some new world order group. There are a f*** ton of successful jews, especially considering how little of the population we are. And that has it's own issues rooted in racism.

    Idk exactly where I meant to go with this lol I"m drunk and forgot my original point. I just wish people were more educated on s*** before they share their point of view with the world.

    edit: the s*** julian edlman said in response to him is honestly amazing. Julian made me proud to be a jew for the first time in awhile. I truly hope they're working on something to bring people together as a whole

    So as a Jew, genuine question, what did Nick canon say that personally offended you? What did he say that was "anti-Semitic"?

    I don't know as much about Cannon's comments compared to Jackson's first of all.

    I do think it is completely reasonable that he got fired for those comments though, but it doesn't make me hate him either.

    Jews just aren't responsible for "the majority of wickedness across the globe," which is the quote that he agreed with. They just really aren't lol.

    In america, you could seriously argue that white people as a whole are responsible for the majority of the wickedness across the COUNTRY. You could argue that jews are responsible for "the majority of wickedness" in israel/palestine. But it's not some f***ing new world order illuminati group controlling the world. It just isn't. If there is one, it's not a group of only f***ing jews running it lol.

    Honestly though I don't know much about what Cannon said. From what I remember he was referencing Farrakhan. Farrakhan is an anti-semite no matter how you look at what he says.

    Tbh I'm about to look more into what Cannon said right now though. I'll never ever hate someone off the bat for having some anti-semetic thoughts/words. As long as they're willing to re-evaluate their position.

    I don't have an issue at all with Cannon being fired either though. Maybe I will once I see what he said again, but I know when I first saw it I didn't have an issue. You can deserve a second chance while still getting "fired" from you current job for some s*** you said. Especially if you dont ever have to work another day in your life to still live comfortably.

    For the other part of your post though, I was born and raised jewish but I don't really care much about the religion. I think the customs are cool and ancient but I don't really believe in god or anything.

    I'm pretty sure if you really want to you can convert, but they'll never be like out there trying to get people to join the faith. I also think blood matters a lot to jews (I could be wrong tbh.) Like it's kinda important that your mom has jewish blood

    I agreed with every single thing he said up until saying "they're the true savages"

    He's honestly right the entire time IMO but I just don't think it's right to call people savages, no matter the race in today's time.

    I only watched once but will re-watch lol. I'm a lil drunk so hope I'm not tuping like a dumbass

    But after one watch, idt he even said anything bad. I was more concerned about the anti-semetic s*** I heard. Maybe it was from a different podcast though because if that clip is the only thing that pissed people off I'm astounded

    I am nowhere close to the right person to talk about this with lol so seriously please take anything I say with a grain of salt

    It's an ethnicity too though. I was raised as a "reform" jew, basically the lowest tier in terms of actually following traditions to the T.

    I know plenty of families with one parent who converted to be jewish and so-on. They're all accepted with open arms by the synagogue my family goes to

    But I'm also pretty sure (could be wrong) that some super orthodox ones would not consider you to be jewish if you aren't also ethnically jewish

    Please understand that I could be completely wrong here though. This is just random information coming out of my head from my entire life of not caring about being jewish while also absorbing random info about it lol
