Maybe the cars are leased. Wrapping it protects the paint job. Idk if or why its more common in Florida though

    Nobody paints cars anymore

  • Jul 22, 2022

most people with wraps either got it leased so it can easily be removed when exchanging it in or expect to change the wrap color overtime if they do keep the car

  • Jul 22, 2022

Down south we wrap them in camo baw

Depends on how old the paint on the car is.

Because it is cheaper and faster than painting and you can take it off to get back to the original color. Why would
You paint instead of wrapping? Lmao

Boomers are choosing to paint their cars because wraps can f*** up an older cars paint job. So yes, it can f*** up the resale. Also slight blemishes, dings, and scratches are more noticeable on a wrap. That’s why you see many older cars wrapped matte because the finish doesn’t expose blemishes like one that shine would.

The only time you want to wrap a car if the paint/body is in new or very good condition.

If your car is new, get it wrapped

If your car is old, paint it

  • Jul 23, 2022

Its actually smarter to wrap your car.

Its faster, preserves the og paint & is easily changeable plus more designs are possible with wrapping than paint.

Also if you plan on eventually reselling your car, i cant stress enough to keep it in its og stock paint n just wrap it. Also for buisnesses that use cars for advertisement its also way smarter to wrap than paint as explained above.

Basically wrap is better in everyway unless you plan on keeping it "forever" or plan to keep your paint job for a long time.

You can do very regular wraps btw, it doesnt have to be the gaudy s*** that goes viral. And it doesnt have to be shiny, it can be done in variois states nowadays just like paint.

But yeah, for a person that likes to resell, use for ads or likes to modify a lot & motorsports, wrapping is easily the way to go.

Wrapping at a credible place can be done extremely well too nowadays.
