I got one of my exes pregnant like 10 years ago when we were both young as s*** and tbh thank god she wanted to have an abortion w/o me having to say anything. having a baby at 19 would have prolly ruined her life/set her back.. I know it’s selfish but honestly don’t care. Y’all weren’t in our position so y’all will never get it.

also I will never forgot the movie chocolat because they had that s*** on repeat in the waiting room at planned parenthood for like 3 hours.

and lastly this is gonna make us sound horrible/dumb af but the only good thing about the abortion was they recommended my girl get a nuvo ring after for more protection or whatever and that s*** was so goat. crazy that she would let me go raw n nut inside even after the abortion because of the nuvo ring.

I have a lot of thoughts on this topic and I would be 100% open to civil discussion.

The older I get the more I become pro life tbh. It's inconsistent since every state/politician has a different time frame when it can legally be performed, some up to 9 months which is absolutely insane to me. I think life begins at conception since at that point it's whole new genetic code, it's literally a new life.

Even when it comes to rape/incest I'm kind of sceptical because why demonize a child because something terrible happened? That blame shouldn't be put onto the child because it didn't do anything. You can always consider adoption. This is something I still go back and forth on though tbh.

I do think abortion is fine if it's absolutely necessary. I had a friend that miscarried and had to be rushed to the hospital and doctors removed the baby. But when someone miscarriries the baby is already dead so the doctors/patient aren't actively agreeing to kill it.

I guess my biggest issue is when people talk about abortion is seems like they're pro choice because having a baby is inconvenient for them because of what they have going on like work and college. Having a child is almost always inconvenient for anyone regardless of their personal situation. Whether you wanted a baby at the time or not does not determine if it's worth living.

You can't be out here saying it's a clumps of cells but if we find clumps of cells on Mars you'll be screaming we found life in space. Yes I'm a man and I know people say men should stay out of it but when you think of it as a human life it's a human issue and everyone should have a say. If men could get pregnant I would have the same thoughts.

Just a question for y'all: If every abortion the patient has to watch what really happens would you think anyone would be okay with seeing a baby getting torn limb to limb and it's head crushed and brains sucked out? Just think about that for a second. If anyone out there is pregnant and doesn't want it please consider adoption, go through 9 months of "hell" to give a family a lifetime of happiness.

And if you kept reading I say I go back and forth on that topic. There's people that have babies from rape/incest and love them all the same. I'm not saying those things are right and no one should obviously be raped. But saying I'm going to abort this baby because someone did something terrible is putting that negative situation onto the child when it's not it's fault. You can always give it up for adoption.

I read the rest of it and it's the same recycled argument I hear from conservatives every time they speak on this, it's just that even they aren't "skeptical" (for the most part) on whether woman shouldn't or should abort when raped/ gotten pregnant from incest because even they know the answer to that should be obvious

It's not a clump of cells. It's something that deserves to live. Like I get that it doesn't look like a baby but that doesn't mean it's worth any less. That's like when baby kangaroos crawl into the mothers pouch for 9 months I can just grab them out and pop them. If people were doing that y'all would lose your minds. How about someone decided to abort kittens? Y'all would go ape s***. I hope you're not taking this as I'm okay with rape because I'm not, obviously. But that is NOT the babies fault. I think most things in life aren't as complicated as people make them out to be.

You've fallen into poor framing, how you value the life of the foetus is completely irrelevant. It's a matter of bodily autonomy, whether the mother wants to carry what is essentially a parasitic life in her body for 9 months. The death of the foetus is an inconvenience, and if the mother decides against having the baby late on labour is induced.
Seriously speaking, getting an abortion isn't a decision women take lightly at all, they invest a lot of thought into it.

Pro-life is nothing more than a marketing spin state enforced pregnancy.
