Disco and “metal” are like oil and water. you can’t mix them together because it won’t sound like a mixture of them both, it will just sound like one being influenced by the other. Country and metal would blend together better.

Great song and very ahead of it’s time. Shame it was a one off for the dude and he didn’t run with that sound.
And it might not be exactly what you’re looking for but a lot of those slow/reverb remixes on YouTube can give you this type of sound, like Uzi 20 Minutes slow/reverb.
