ong @op you should def take a gap year bro.
dont ever feel like you missing out n s*** and all your friends are going, that s*** is fleeting man. Youll meet a lot of friends a long the way anyway. Trust the process
if ur afraid of getting lazy u should probably just take a term off instead of an entire year
honestly wish I would've done this but got talked out of it by my fam. I don't regret a thing because im pretty happy where I am now but my current situation did not require me to do college/take on that debt. I really think if I entered college now I would have had a 100x better experience than I did, I really wasn't ready. if you think you can actually get your mental state together to take advantage of the rest of college I think you should. I hate how we've normalized college into extended high school, it should be something you actively want to do otherwise what's the point financially crippling yourself for the next 10-15 years
college is 4 years of your life
get it over with
you aren't going to do s*** with your gap year anyways. finish school then go make some real money. just take business if you don't know what to do and your marks are too s*** to go into com sci or eng
Just take 2 classes, have a light schedule and work a bunch, don't do absolutely nothing that ain't gonna do s*** for you.
Unless you 1000% without a doubt know what you want to go to college for, I will always advise kids to take a gap year after high school. It’s one of the things I wish I did, instead of bumming around in community college for 3-4 years because of pressure from my parents, and me not really know what I wanted for myself.
