Depends how long yall been knowing each other
If I’ve only known u a week or two, tbh it’d be courteous to explain myself but it’s not a big deal
If you’ve known someone for mad long and just disappear from their life, u genuinely need to be sent to space
my official ghosting anthem

I think it still just depends how long yall been knowing each other
I think if you’ve been inside someone though, probably would be fair to explain yourself if you’re going to vanish from their life.
The questions one asks themselves after being ghosted, especially if intimacy was involved can be really f***ed up. Best to at least give them a chance at clarity

the nights i've spent awake wondering if my strokes were good enough.....
It's lame no matter how you spin it. Go to therapy, develop a semblance of empathy/compassion, work on your attachment issues, and do better

Dylan, The Byrds, Beach Boys, 13th Floor Elevators, Hendrix, Neil Young, Stooges, Funkadelic etc had better songs than the Brits every year. Brits only had SOTY in like 1972 (If There Is Something by Roxy Music).

I spend so long on this project that I harass everyone remotely interested to listen to them lol
Beatles almost had '67 but still had to give it to Jimi. I'm generally more obsessed with British artists so even I was genuinely surprised they didn't have SOTY once in the 60s. Bowie about to sweep several years of the mid 70s in a row however.

Nah this s*** is amazing, appreciate you sharing this with me. I'm aspiring to reach your level of musical knowledge. Honestly been a huge Beatles fan my whole life but just started with the Stones discography recently in chronological order. I'm on Let it Bleed right now
Amazing!

Yes I did!!! Never really realized how influenced by American music they were tbh. Their Satanic Majesties Request & Beggars Banquet hit particularly hard for me

Yeah all the British invasion bands tried to sound as American as possible initially until the Kinks (aka the GOATS open.spotify.com/playlist/3Tbet6N3HbZ34BGVrwFymV?si=yAQjOC0wR92ovWdubKKadQ&utm_source=copy-link&sci=spotify%3Acard-config%3A4K3b6b55doS03SGjtqF7bJ ) made it cool to embrace their own Brit music heritage around '66.
They all started singing in their real accent, referencing Brit locales, commenting on the class system etc. By Beggars Banquet the Stones had started sounding extremely American again though.
Did you get to all the gems like this one;
