My favorite is “Goin’ Down Slow”, but not even because of him, because of this performance. Patrice O’Neal was my favorite comic of all time, and the lyrics to this song pretty eerily parallel both his life and his death

I’m also a big Beefheart fan and Beefheart was basically just doing a Howlin’ Wolf impression over weirder music.
