‘Jane from Occupied Europe’ is cool and more experimental but ‘A Trip to Marineville’ balances the straight punk stuff and the weirdness, and it’s a record that gets weirder as it progresses, which is cool.
I’ve come to enjoy just about every Fall album at this point but you can’t really go wrong with any of their 70’s or 80’s albums. After that it gets a little spottier but there’s still good stuff, particularly in the 00’s. Their 90’s stuff might have to grow on you. The Internet will steer you towards Hex Enduction Hour and This Nation’s Saving Grace but I’ve always been most partial to Dragnet and Grotesque (After the Gramme).

    Just finished
I couldn't decide on favs so just made an alphabetical top 25

Love those first three Wire records.

  • I like both versions of Raw Power. Something about the Bowie version of this song just sounds better to me

but the Iggy version of this song is unmistakably better

But also, yeah, Fun House is their best album anyway.
