head on the door seems to get overlooked and i dont understand why. That s*** slaps, especially The Blood with it funky ass western vibe,

It's such a good mix of the s*** people enjoyed the Cure for beforehand (Kyoto Song, Sinking), the pop gems they would come to be known for (In Between Days, Close to Me) and great fusions of the two (Push, A Night Like This), plus some straight up weirdness. Totally fresh and fun album.

I just looked through my 80s albums submission list from our group's "best of the decades" threads on the OG site and chose 5 that i've been listening to the most in recent months. (Though Swordfish, P***ography, and Firstborn almost never leave rotation haha.)
