bounce connected is a live recording of Konami rhythm game (Dance Dance Revolution, Beatmania IIDX, etc.) music, basically a Japanese DJ set from 2003 of progressive techno instrumentals, but it's hella good and nostalgic for me

Yeah this is no insult to rock, I like rock I just don't know a lot of rock music. And only recently listened to some nu metal greats like Deftones and Slipknot and it's fun

it's because nu-metal has a groove to it that traditional rock lacks and it incorporates rap, and that's another thing absent from traditional rock. it was my gateway to Rock and now I enjoy classic and alternative rock even more, but nu-metal was a early fav for me
