An artists peak is just the music that they haven't managed to top, not the best you will ever do that's a ridiculous bar. It's all subjective though. I think Drake's peak is NWTS while some people probably think it's More Life.

Drake is doing the same formula he always does with every release. One song for the charts (What's Next), One song for the streets (The one with Lil Baby) and one bar heavy one (Lemon Pepper Freestyle)

You can never really pin point the peak until after they fall off. Drake definitely didn't peak with TC - NWTS - IYRTITL. He's still going strong

I wouldn't say Travis peaked with DBR either. If anything he peaked with Astro

An artists peak isn't only about quality. It's about relevance, impact, quality, image, a bunch of things.
