Whether you liked the songs or not is irrelevant that’s subjective lol but you cannot deny the stranglehold drake still has on the industry, social media, and in the real world
Completely undeniable
i think people are talking about 2 different types of peaking

op is talking about best albums
Which means we're talking about the quality of the music and not the popularity, no?

Ed Sheeran top 5 artist out and possibly of all time
sounds like a very radio friendly track to me
i guess but i was waiting for that s*** to end as soon as i heard the beat
Idk how you can experience last night in real time and say Drake peaked 6 years ago
Hard to say. It's usually when they create a moment that can't be replicated by anyone again. Usually artists only top these eras when they take time off for themselves and return after some years with a fresh perspective
beyonce - Self-Titled/Lemonade
Mariah - Butterfly/Emancipation
Are examples
i think we have no clue if we have heard their peaks yet
I think it's safe to say that with some artists that we've heard the best that they will ever have to offer.
Drake is doing the same formula he always does with every release. One song for the charts (What's Next), One song for the streets (The one with Lil Baby) and one bar heavy one (Lemon Pepper Freestyle)
not even tryna be funny but in your opinion what is nas’s peak

Well then there’s really no definitive answer I guess that will have to come years down the road. It’s hard to measure something like that since it’s all opinion based
But for what it’s worth, I’m seeing TONS of love for this pack both on and off the site. Lots of people saying Lemon Pepper is one of Drakes best verses ever.

Have you had a chance to listen to the new Bruno/Paak yet? Interested in how you feel
I will just add this. can someone really peak artistically if their subject matter has stayed the same over a long period of time?

Hmmm...1994-2002
I will just add this. can someone really peak artistically if their subject matter has stayed the same over a long period of time?
Yes
How you present that same subject and the quality/production matters

Eh. It's great as every other long introspective Drake verse, but anytime he drops a song like that people say its the best one
4pm in Calabasas, Diplomatic Immunity, Omerta, etc ettc

Saw it buzzing on Twitter.. looks like some 60s/70s RnB imagery. I’ll give it a listen when I hop in the car
Drake def peaked At IYRTITL.
With LNCL plus scary hours, if CLB is fire he will re-peak
Yes

indeed you have me. so you can essentially never explore any other topic in your music but as longs as you approach it differently throughout your career it prolongs your decline as an artist. actually like this response
