Yeah even Anuel AA admitted this in an interview. Bad Bunny has transitioned from a national star to an international star. I think he is the only latin artist doing great in the USA sales/tour wise. His album is charting on the latin charts and the USA charts. Also people have to notice most of the Spanish people who stream 🎶 are still using YouTube instead of Spotify. Anuel AA once mentioned this so I feel this goes the same for every other latin artist. This goes the same for African musicians. People over there either use audio mack or YouTube.

his success is crazy and commendable. Outside of that, he has no real impact/influence on pop music culture. He’s only popular in Latin adjacent communities that have a large Spanish speaking base: Latin America, Texas, Cali and Florida the language barrier will keep him from going to the next level. He refuses to address himself in English for the sake of ‘gringos’ and other non Spanish speakers. He won’t truly break through until he folds. I think that charges his base. A lil ethnocentrism
